The Bush regime for months has been holding other world leaders accountable for any and everything that happens in their sphere of influence. According to Bush regime Kofi Annan should have known about the Oil for Food scandal. And that Bashar al-Assad President of Syria has enough power that it was impossible for an assassination in the neighboring country of Lebanon to have taken place without his consent. Not that I don’t think that the Syrian assertion isn’t at the least close.
